Who are we?

The Advice Service has been serving the communities of Shirehampton, Lawrence Weston, Avonmouth and Sea Mills since 1977, making us one of the longest established advice centres in the country.
With strong roots and good understanding of local needs, we provide a service that has a real impact on the lives of hundreds of people.
In August 2010 we moved to Shirehampton Health Centre where we provide advice with a specific waiting room and private interview room to discuss issues in privacy.

Our aim is to relieve poverty through the provision of free, high quality advice services and to raise awareness within the community of citizen’s rights and entitlements.
